Hi *|FNAME|*,

I hope you are all well and keeping cool with all the recent hot weather? I'm currently in Sydney and the weather here is a bit overcast. In Sydney, I'm catching up with old and new clients and will be heading back to Adelaide later this week. If you are one of our readers from Sydney and would like to catch up please let me know.

AI is still the talk of the town with ChatGPT and Google's Bard. ChatGPT is now integrated into the Bing search engine and Google is scrambling to keep up with their version called the Bard. As mentioned last month and in our a recent blog article, AI is one area all business should keep a very close eye on in the coming months.

As I announced approx 12 months ago, M365 / O365 monthly pricing from Microsoft has risen by between 6 - 10%. We put in place some things with Microsoft to delay this rise but it will be added to all invoiced from next month. Please contact me if you would like to confirm costings.

Our blog articles this month show you why you should not pick up stray USB drives, demonstrate why lack of proper configuration in online cloud accounts can cause security issues and shows you some reasons to upgrade to Windows 11. See below for links.

If you would like to catch up to discuss your IT needs or just for a chat, please let me know via phone (0412 973 503) or email (david@dpcomputing.com.au).

Cheers,
David Perkovic

Out and About

  • Earlier in the month David caught up with some old and new business contacts at a networking event held by the Southern Business Connections at the Marion Hotel.
  • Ben has been driving all over the state with a few networking and Starlink installs jobs in and around Murray Bridge and Jervois.
  • Ben and Zee are just starting on another project, installing digital media players attached to large screen displays.
