I hope you all had a great Easter and were able to take a few days break? I managed to have a nice time off but 2 of my techs were busy working over the Easter break up on a property near Alice Springs (see below for more info).

As some of you know we know, we now resell both Internet and phone / VOIP services. If you are looking at moving your phone services or require a fast internet connection (fibre, NBN and NBN Enterprise Ethernet) please let me know and i can see what we can provide. As part of these services we are also now members of the TIO. Telecommunication service providers need to be members of the TIO, so check if your current provider is!.

SPF, DKIM, DMARC: For most businesses these acronyms and their associated configuration have not warranted a second thought. But this will need to change as in a bid to reduce SPAM, Google and many other email platforms are now cracking down on unauthenticated email and need SPF, DKIM and DMARC set!  Discover more about what you need to do to make sure your email is not impacted in this overview. If it still is a mystery contact us to help you out.

Enjoy your Easter Monday and stay cyber safe,

Out and About

Here are some things we have been doing during February:

  • AI is one of the big buzzwords at the moment and David attended an in person workshop on "AI in Action: Hands On Prompt Engineering Workshop" by the great team at the AI Master Dojo. If you would like to see how AI can benefit you business let us know.
  • Paul and Ben have been busy up near Alice Springs. They have been rebuilding a wireless network across 3 different areas on a large property. The main site consists of over 20 wireless access points and wireless bridges with multiple Internet connections. Once they are back, check out our social media or see next months newsletter for photos.
  • David and Sean caught up for a breakfast meeting with one our partners Manage Protect. Manage Protect provide cloud and cybersecurity solutions for both us and out clients.
  • Bevin helped fix up some issues at a chocolate shop in the Adelaide CBD and received some yummy chocolate hot cross buns as a thank you!
  • Our techs in Sydney have been busy with jobs across the metro area and even down in Wollongong.

Our techs have been busy with a Fortinet firewall and wireless AP install, Watchguard Firewall installs across 3 sites and a Ubiquiti Unifi wireless network upgrade.

Our techs, Paul and Ben, on their way to Alice Springs. They are currently still onsite upgrading a large wireless network on a remote property.
For one of our contracts in Sydney, Fahim is repairing some laptops at a school.

David is the Adelaide Chapter President for an industry group called SMBiT Professionals. Here he is presenting at the March meeting and also talking with SMBiT's CEO.

Fahim was down working in Wollongong during the day and at a data center in Ultimo at night!

Bevin helped fix up some IT issues at a chocolate shop during their busiest week of the year and received some yummy chocolate hot cross buns as a thank you!

David had a great discussion on the latest cybersecurity and cloud solutions over a breakfast meeting with our partners at Manage Protect.
