Hello *|FNAME|*,

I hope you are well and business is good. I'm currently traveling to Sydney for a conference. If you are based in Sydney and wish to catch up please let me know.

A lot of readers will probably be using M365 but are not using all its features. As such I hope to over the next few months go through some of the other features on M365 that people don't use or don't know about. This month I go through MS Planner - see our blog article below.

There are 4 main pillars when it comes to cyber security: MFA (multi factor authentication), email security, security awareness training and endpoint protection & management. These all play a major part in protecting your IT assets and should be the first point of call when strengthening your businesses cyber protection. If you need help with any or all of these areas please let me know.

Out and About

It has been a wireless kind of month: installing wireless networks, training on wireless technology, presenting on wireless and attending wireless conferences!

  • Paul and Ben were busy up on a property near Alice Springs. They installed a 3 separate wireless networks across the site. The sites were spread over 7km and the main site consists of over 20 wireless access points and wireless bridges with multiple Internet connections.
  • Stefan attend the DCNP (D-Link Certified Network Professional) Wireless training.
  • We recently upgraded a wireless network as the previous setup was poorly configured and planned with poor speeds and coverage. Paul presented to other IT professionals at the Adelaide SMBiT meeting on how to not to install a wireless network. He will be presenting at a future meeting on how to install one properly!
  • Stefan was over in Western Australia visiting family. While there, he popped in to view one of our clients new factory location (to work out the best positions for their wireless access points amongst a few other things!).

Ben and Paul were busy installing some wireless networks on a large property south west of Alice Springs.

Stefan was busy learning about all the intricacies of wireless networks at the DCNP (D-Link Certified Network Professional) Wireless training.
Here is Paul presenting at the Adelaide Chapter of SMBiT Professionals on wireless networks.

Fahim has been busy with some HPE / Nimble Storage servers in Sydney.
